All companies, big or small, must do what they can to consistently, structured and meticulous work to make the smallest possible impact on our now rather fragile environment. According to a research report from the university of Chalmers in Sweden, it is now relatively easy to calculate the climate impacts of film production. This report is one of few studies on how film production can be organized in an environmentally friendly way.
Based on this studie, we've made a number of promises to our customers. The most important thing for us is that our company doesn't expose the environment to more stress than it already endures. For this reason, we compensate all our products through a third party.
We promise to buy electricity produced from renewable sources such as wind and hydropower.
Our computers, cameras and other electronic equipment are always powered by electricity from renewable sources such as wind and hydropower.
Subcontractors commit to the same promises.
We travel in a way that creates the least possible climate impact.
In cases where we have to transport bulky equipment, we use environmentally friendly cars with the lowest possible emissions. We avoid flying as much as possible.
At the first possible time, all vehicles we dispose of will be electric cars.
We only serve plant based food during our shoots.
We only buy fairtrade and/or ecological and environmentally friendly food for our productions.
We mind our general consumption and try to make good environmental choices throughout all our purchases, eg. when booking a hotel, purchasing paper, cleaning products and so on.
